My name’s Lucy Allan, I’m 20 years old, studying Outdoor Education in Ambleside. I try and get out nearly every day on my bike, for fun and for training; as I am a sponsored XC mountain biker for Torq Performance, competing in the British XC Nationals.

I moved up from Plymouth last year for Uni and am absolutely loving the Lake District’s mountainous and rocky riding. I’m lucky to have a lovely group of University of Cumbria students to ride with, and some other locals.

I’ve always wanted to work in the biking industry and recently I began working for Cyclewise, Whinlatter instructing and coaching.
