Hi Im Lindsey. Im 27 and I live in the Lake District. My home is wherever I park my van. I love nothing more than hiking my bike up a mountain, standing on the summit and breathing in that fresh air. Feeling the sense of complete freedom and smiling ear to ear as I look down at my bike knowing this descent is gonna be sick!

And Im Beccy. Im 24 and addicted to cycling around the biggest bestest playground that is the Lake District! What i love most about biking is the sense of adventure and the freedom thats completely powered by myself.

We met 4 years ago whilst working in a bike shop. We both shared the same passion for mountain biking and having crazy adventures and we have been inseparable ever since. When we started biking we quickly noticed that seeing women on the trails were very few and far between. After speaking to many females that came in to the shop it was evident that a lot of women wanted to ride more but didn’t want the pressure of riding with guys. They also didn’t have any female biking buddies, that’s when we decided to create linzekyride.

Linzekyride is for women who live and breath adventure on their bikes! We aim to encourage more women to get out riding and help motivate them to seek out their adventure! We do this by running monthly linzeky rides where we will go out for the day and ride one of the many great trails that the lakes has to offer and most importantly make new biking buddies.
